This place is mostly known for Gr¡ngo Tuesays where all the locals go to meet gringos and and the gringos go to meet the locals. On Gr¡ngo Tuesday there are tables set up to with different languages for you people to learn and practice the language of choice. I have never come back from there with out a smile on my face. On Thursday nights the place offers free dance lesson (never been to one though) but i hear it is an amazing experience :D
Like any mall in Colombia. This is one of the larger ones. It looks larger from the outside due to the office buildings in the center of outer ring that makes up the mall. When flying into Bogota you can amok out Titan Plaza from a distance. Easy to get to as the Boyaca Transmilenio station stops here.
Guatavita is a small Pueblo with beautiful lined white houses through out the town. The town center is made of up of all stone and is a work of artisanship. The town has a lake at the bottom of the town where a lot of the locals from Bogota got for the weeked to take a boat or just relax at the lake. Guatavita is known for the it's second lake where you can take a tour of the rumored El Derado.
A nice swanky/Backpacker sushi restaurant in the heart of Chorro de Queveda. The place has lots of sushi to offer. Not the greatest sushi I have had (then again I don't really eat sushi) but it is definitely worth trying. The place has a very laid back atmosphere. You can sit on the floor or at table upstairs.
Basic chain coffee shop. It is small and the poor girl there was overworked by all the tourists that were there. Located in Centro, and not so far from the Museum it is a great place to get a coffee if you want to drink something safe and familiar. Beware of the tourists who can barely speak spanish (or english as well).
Big gigantic swanky mall. I was here because my friend wanted to visit the new Victoria's Secret, we had assumed it was at this mall (we were wrong). The malls in Colombia are a great social gathering place for families and friends. This is no different, just more swanky.
Pizza at the airport, and like any other food at the airport it was overpriced and under whelming. This place was no different, it does have a nice decor though, but don't allow that to fool you.
A great small section of souther Bohol where you can just sit and relax. Panglao is where everyone goes to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Bohol and I would suggest it too for it's view.
I interesting bar in an interesting area. Unlike the small feel. Happy hour menu is great. It is a great place to go after a long day at work.
Danao is an adventure park that is about an hour and a half bus ride from Tagbilaran and just north of Carmen (Chocolate Hills). When you finally get to town you take a motorcycle taxi who takes you to the park. There is an entrance fee and then you pay for the park adventures. Some of the things you could do there is Camp, zipline, rappel, kayak, rock wall climbing, caving, bunjee jump and more...
A great local place to just hike. There is not much more to do here but hike or catch a sunrise and take a photo. If you are a photographer, this is one of the few places to catch a sunrise over a body of water in the Bay Area.
Just a simple place to have simple food. It is very inexpensive and the quality of the food is not great, but it isn't bad either. The environment is kind of run a bit down. The owner is a bit happy and was very friendly to letting us use the internet to stream the game that was not playing on their one TV.
