Off the grid is a roaming set of food trucks that wander around san francisco. They have a good selection of foods depending on who will be there and the food is fantastic. It is definitely a staple of San Francisco Culture. There is no one place you can find them, that is why you need to check out offthegridsf.com to see the schedule of where they will be.
Not my most favorite of airports but it is not bad either. The place can seem to use a little renovations but again it is not bad. I come here when it is cheaper to fly domestically.
We only stopped in Trigana for a few hours to relax and then caught the next boat back to Turbo. The place is very nice and pretty. A great place to relax. It is a great alternative if you do not want to take the longer boat ride to Capurgana or Sapzurro. The water here is not as calm or still as the later two I mentioned but it is still a great place to relax and enjoy.
La Miel is a poor village just on the border of Panama and Colombia on the Panama side. Many backpackers take the hike from Capurgana for an hour to an hour and half to Sapzurro and another 30 minutes to La Miel. The walk is a nice walk or a hot one depending on the weather. Make sure to bring your passport if you are planning on walking here, they require it to check you in. If you are colombian... you just need your cedula.
So not many know of Sapzurro. Not many Colombians know of Sapzurro. Some Colombians know of Capurgana, but not many know of Capurgana. This is a town that is an hour walk from Capurgana and 15 minute boat ride. This place has not much, some stores, some small places to eat and a decent amount of places to sleep. The main attraction is Cabo Tiburon, the main beach. It is just a relaxing and clean place to have a swim. And it is gorgeous. If you want to just relax, Sapzurro is the place to do it. There is a lot of nature to explore as well.
The one thing I must mention about Sapzurro, is that I can see my self leaving my life behind to stay here.
Old video game and carnival game museum. It is a collection of games that someone kept, a lot of which came from play land before it closed in San Francisco. I like coming here with my family as my parents remember all the games when they were kids, and some of the ones I remember too.
Love to just walk and take the tour of the bread making process. I love the smell of this place. I am a huge fan of bread and could live here all day if it wouldn't kill me afterwards.
Great for a one time visit. It is definately something different. The town it is in is definately geared towards tourists but also offers a laid aback feel. The tour is option but we decided to not stay with the tour (which is in all Spanish) and take our time taking photos of this amazing picturesque place.
A great place to just explore and go shopping. It was like a bizarre in India. The streets were packed with vendors... and even more importantly amazing street food. You can literally get lost in the maze there.
