The quality is undisputed. The location, at the Belvedere Hotel, is sleek, sexy and where you will find all of the jet-set glitterati. The Euros all congregate making this fabulous restaurant a hot nightspot as well. Reservations and a platinum card will be required. Put on your finest and PLEASE order the Black Cod with Miso, the signature dish. Nom!
I'm not usually a hostel kind of gal. I can honestly say that the facilities at this particular hostel are probably the best I have seen, anywhere. The Circus was recently refurbished and restored to its original glory. It is immaculate and cheap. Add free WiFi and a delicious breakfast and you get, one of the best hostels I have ever seen, anywhere.
You can book a suite or a whole house. The point is this is as 'Hipster' as Athens has. The suites with names like the 'Anthony Quinn Suite' and the 'Betty Boop Suite' they are chic, well appointed and the service is extremely personal. These suites will satisfy even the most discriminating traveler.
One of my favorite hotels in the most scenic suburb of Athens. Vouliagmeni was the site of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games. The area the hotel is in is surrounded by both a lake and the sea. On a peninsula, the hotel enjoys spectacular views, the freshest seafood and a great nightlife. The Margi is sexy, hipster, cool. The staff is young attentive and the rooms, sleek and modern.
So I have probably seen the best of this club...
It is modern and fun. The club also caters to the really young and by that I mean the barely 21 year old set. If you are older it might be a bit uncomfortable.
The drinks are good and it has something for every taste.
My ex is one of the owners and they do try to keep it fun and drama free so if you are in NYC check it out!
This is a Las Vegas landmark, serving wine, beer and delicious food. Foodies will love the wine specific foods like baked brie, crostinis and various pasta dishes. The atmosphere is lively and loud, not the place to carry on an intimate conversation. The upside is the wine selection, nothing cheap, upscale and for wine aficionados. Delicious!
I love this resort, service wise and the beach isThis is such a unique property. The hotel is perfect for honeymooners or those seeking a spectacular beach. The residences are great for longer stays and families. The beach is one of the most pristine stretches, I have ever seen. Really special. Set on a cliff with great views and sunsets that people wait a lifetime to see, this resort is truly magical. Every aspect is crisp and perfect. The service, food, spa, I felt like a princess.
The sexiest hotel in LA? A contender, for sure. The type of place you go with your mistress, not your wife. Hidden in the Hollywood Hills, it is a bit tricky to find, it's meant to be hidden. The cabanas have fur blankets draped over them, dinner is set up in a Tent-for-2, and there is a private club on the roof where cocktails under a tent, is the norm.
The best views in all of Athens are atop the Grande Bretagne Hotel, signature restaurant GB Roof Garden. The back drop is the Acropolis and keep in mind that this is the most luxurious hotel in the city so prices are exorbitant. Thing is, whatever the cost, this is an experience you should not miss. The employees are the best the country has to offer, on every level. The food ranging from brunch to late night dinners, is meticulously prepared. If you decide to splurge anywhere in the city, it should be here.
This was an eclectic find, stumbled upon wandering the streets of Psyrri. Not th usual type of place I frequent, this is more of a traditional oyzeri offering Meze, local wines and a selection of regional Raki. These are the types of restaurants where the ingredients are fresh and the recipes passed down for generations. In this case, it was inexpensive, the atmosphere of locals colorful and the food ,delicious. reminding me of why Athens is so special.
I have spent a lot of time in this suburb of Paris. It isn't visually stunning, but the restaurants on the river have their own charm. A large Muslim population exists and from that some of the best Middle Eastern food I have ever tasted.
I really loved hanging out here! The food was yummy, servers were on top of their game and the drinks potent. Having said that... Initially when you arrive it doesn't really feel upscale. The location (on the marina in Newport Beach) changed my mind and as Happy Hour ended, the crowd changed. It is a bit pricey but this is NB so it was expected. Insider Tip: $5.00 Mai Tai's from 4-7 everyday.
I like this place. Yes, it is a bit overpriced but it is quintessentially California. The atmosphere is noisy but you don't go there to have quiet, intimate conversations. The reason to go is location (WeHo), alcohol and food. The people watching is pretty darn good too!
