Such a fun area to walk around! Even when the fortress's inside is closed, there's plenty to see! They host races around the fortress grounds... I almost ran straight into people due to that! It's quite a nice view too. This is a spot not to be missed!...more
Lush gardens with colorful flowers and vividly green grass are the perfect setting for this sculpture park in Oslo. Every section of this park has sculpture hidden away. This is a must for anyone stopping in Oslo!
Located on the opposite end of Karl Johans Gate from the Palace, it seems almost too poetic that this building would be governmental. As far as government buildings go, this one is quite pretty and chances are if you're walking around Oslo, you're bound to stroll by it....more
Although small in size, this museum has a lot to offer and is definitely worth visiting. It's amazing how well preserved the viking ships and other artifacts are. Also make sure to look out the window while riding the tram or bus to see other interesting sights like the Norwegian Folk Museum....more
Beautiful building located right in the middle of one of Oslo's busiest bus/tram and subway stops. It's situated on cute grounds with flowers, sculpture and fountains for visual intrigue. Certainly a nice spot to walk by if you don't have time to see a show....more
