Istanbul is an incredible and unique city that completely surpassed all expectations. The meeting of religions, cultures and even continents in this city make it a must see, and the food, culture and people will make you want to return.
Although it isn't the hippie haven it one was, there is still a fun atmosphere and great pudding! I loved seeing the newspaper clippings from the 60s and 70s and the remaining bulletin board looking for rides across Europe and Asia.
Once the beginning of the Hippie Trail, this is now a comfortable tourist spot. There is still a small bulletin board with mostly outdated postings for carpools, and several photos and newspaper boast of the shop's history. The staff was very nice and the chocolate pudding was delicious....more
Hands down, this is the best rooftop terrace in an area full of rooftop terraces. It feels like the highest vantage point, with unbelievable views of Hagai Sophia, the Blue Mosque and the Golden Horn.
