This quaint and historic B&B could not have been more perfect! The rooms were gorgeous and cozy, the prices were reasonable and everyone we met - not just at the hotel but also in the entire town - was pleasant and helpful. I can't think of a better weekend trip from London!
When we visited, there was an incredible exhibit on Victoria and Albert. The gallery itself is a gorgeous yet still intimate space that lends itself well to this type of exhibit.
I found Gatwick to be a much more pleasant experience than Heathrow, although the distance from the city is somewhat inconvenient.
As nice as it is to have healthy fast food options, I found the prices high and the food itself ranged from mediocre to inedible. I hope that my visit was unusual, because I really wanted to like this place.
Excellent Greek food! If you've never tried octopus before, this is the place to do it. The tapas menu is probably the highlight for me, with a great selection and decent prices.
Good food, and the prices were reasonable for the area. Check out the nightly entertainment schedule which included belly dancing when we visited.
Gare du Nord is always incredibly busy, but it is a very useful station. Hang on to your wallet!
Possibly the best hot chocolate in the world. It's made even better if you have a friend with you to share a whole pitcher!
This is one of the most enjoyable neighborhoods of Paris. We ate dinner outside at Les Deux Magots, overlooking one of the oldest churches in the city. Unforgettable!
The Palais is magnificent in its own right, but the views of the Eiffel Tower are truly postcard worthy.
This stunning chateau is located in the heart of St Germain en Laye. Gorgeous architecture and great paths for an afternoon stroll.
Great photo opportunities here! This is a very fun place and a great location to explore.
Gorgeous architecture, especially those stunning gates! This is a fun place to check out art exhibits.
This is a nice enough airport, although I found it somewhat uncomfortable for a long layover.
Although Volos is a fairly large city, it retains its quaint charm if you know where to look. The sea is beautiful, with cute cafes and restaurants overlooking the water.
Although it is large and incredibly busy, this airport has always given me a pleasant experience.
