The first time we waited for this event it got rained out so make sure you check on the weather situation before you spend time waiting for nothing. It is of course a terrific parade and the lights in the night just make it that much better.
This is my favorite of the Universal parks. It has characters and attractions that are not the same old thing. It also seems to be made for an older age too. I know it is hard to get to if you are staying on Disney property but if not it is another alternative to try....more
If you are in Orlando and need something to do besides Disney this is the place and as they say your are not in Disney any more. I think they mean that this is a little less kid like and more adult but I don't think that any kid would not find this place great....more

This seems to be where we spend most of our time when we go to Walt Disney World. The different countries each have there own charm, as well as restaurants and shops. Make sure you stay for the fireworks at night it is worth it.
This is a nice casual restaurant on Lake Hatchineha in Haines City. They have both indoor and screened outdoor siting and they take reservations.
