This place is...okay. It's cheap and they fill your wineglass high, so it's good for that. I had a decent turkey burger. The waitress was very nice. The fries were the sucky kind. If you're looking for low/mid-end bar food, this is the mark.
Great authentic tacos, super-cool ambiance with funky luchador masks on the wall. Went for a work happy hour and had some good wines and excellent chips and salsa.
This is a quirky place with some great food options. They have a salmon, lentil, and sweet potato salad that is really excellent. It's a nice atmosphere with creative takes on traditional items.
Good brick oven pizza, good salads. Need to try more stuff and update this review!
This zoo is both super fun and leaves things to be desired. It has improved greatly in the last 5 years, so if you haven't been in a while, you should go! The old lion gets up on his rock and roars every single time I've been there, which is awesome. There are two tigers, a regular and a white one and they like to wrestle. The Gorilla exhibit is great too. And they just built the best playground I've every seen anywhere. It's really amazing and huge. We have a membership and sometimes take our son just for the playground. This zoo is not at the caliber of some of the bigger city zoos, but it's really worth going and fun nonetheless.
This is a great aquarium, though currently the central huge tank is under construction. Our toddler loves seeing the giant sea-turtle up close and they've got great sea lion, seal, and penguin exhibits. If you come early you can get street parking in the financial district if you bring quarters.
