This is the ultimate destination for children up to age 8 or 9. It has a fascinating collection of hands on fun things for kids to play with and learn. Plan to spend at least three or four hours. They have a lunch counter that is well stocked.
If you are into art, this is one museum you should not miss. It has been relocated from the original location on the Main Line to center city to make it more accessible to tourists and other visitors. Steven Starr's fabulous Mexican in Philadelphia is one of my favorites. Their guacamole choices are outstanding and their entrees are unique and delicious. Don't miss their exotic cocktails. The blood orange margarita is fantastic!
My very favorite special occasion restaurant. It is a little pricey but the food is incredible and you cannot believe what the chef is able to do using all vegan ingredients. Stayed here for a wedding last March. Very nice room. The place is humongous! We also had brunch in their Restaurant 13 which was very good. We are going to book rooms here for my daughter's wedding next summer including a brunch as well.
