Georgian House Bed and Breakfast
1828 Northeast Siskiyou Ave, Portland, OR 97212
A few blocks from Freemont Street and the Max light rail (which provides free access to downtown Portland from the Lloyd Center stop), this 1922 house is one of Portland’s most inviting, personable, B&Bs. The owner here is absolutely lovely and warm, and it’s no surprise that this four-room B&B gets plenty of return guests. The living room here is inviting and features a reproduction of a Penny Farthing bicycle (one big wheel, one little wheel). There are three upstairs rooms (with air-conditioning and cozy homelike decor) and a cooler basement room. One of the highlights of this place is the garden, which becomes a veritable orchard in the summertime, when its Marion berries, blueberries, blackberries, and even kiwis begin to fruit. There’s also a large patio where guests can have a leisurely breakfast when the weather permits.
