Hard to say if I actually liked it or not. I am sure it is a very nice property, but I wouldn't know, as I never even made it past the security gate. Apparently this resort is very members only, as in, if you are not on the check-in list, don't even bother coming just to check it or take pictures, as you won't be let in.
This hotel, located in a big, bright blue building with a bright red roof, is one that cannot be missed, because of its looks and offerings. From the outside it looks promising, and from the inside it definitely is. The lobby is big, and smells of chlorine, but that is because of the hotel's indoor pool, a rarity in Central Florida. Surrounding it are a plethora of guest attractions, which include a hotel bar, a restaurant with an all-you-can-eat buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with differing items for those meals, of course, and a game room. The game room is impressive as well, as unlike most game rooms, it is not just a small room with a bunch of arcade, but offers air hockey and pool tables as well. There is another pool table by the indoor pool, and there is also an outdoor pool for sunny days. The hotel bar offers drink specials daily, so it is definitely worth checking out. I would stay here.
This hotel was right next door to a boarded up hotel, so I thought that was it at first. However, this place might as well be boarded up, as in the vernacular, it sucks. One has to buzz the front desk to be let in, and I could see why from the get-go: this place is ghetto. There were some definitely sketchy people hanging out in the parking lot, and people shouting at each other, slamming doors, etc. Even at $39.95 per night, it is not a good deal. I did not feel safe even coming here, let alone staying here. Stay away.
With brightly colored buildings and old rock music providing a laid back, this resort in the Kissimmee area seems like a good place to get away. The lobby is clean and quaint, and this resort offers many amenities that guests of all ages can ages can enjoy. Location-wise it is a good one as well, as this resort is near Disney, the outlets, and many area attractions. Speaking of Disney, this timeshare resort offers discounts on theme parks, but the amount you save won't really offset the tremendous cost of going.
This cozy timeshare resort is located in Kissimmee, and features condominium-style suites. In fact, it looks very much like a condo complex with a Southern or tropical theme. While it may not be large, it offers much in the way of amenities: a shuttle to area attractions and theme parks, an arcade/game room, free coffee and tea, an activities center, and a pool. There is also a Florida room behind the lobby leading to real-life tropical jungle, which only adds to the theme.
This hotel is located in the Hunter's Creek area of Kissimmee. It is close to area attractions, theme parks, the outlets, and other Kissimmee hotels. Amenities include a heated pool and shuttle to the attractions. But the highlight of this hotel is the koi pond, undoubtedly designed to go with the tropical theme. It provides a calming, tranquil oasis in what is otherwise a budget hotel in an industrial area. Inside there are more fish tanks with more tropical fish, including one Oscar. They are all behind the hotel counter, where the customer service associates are very friendly and helpful.
This resort has a Caribbean island feel, both from the decor and clientele. It is a very multicultural place, and is also very pretty and large, offering a multitude of things to see and do that all ages can enjoy. There are so many eateries and cafes at this place, and activities, one never has to leave, although one can, and probably would, to check our Central Florida theme parks and attractions, all of which are a short drive away.
Located next to Bonefish Grill and Golden China Buffet, this hotel spans the range of eatery options. It is located near area attractions, such as Disney, and offers a multitude of amenities for the price of a night's stay: complimentary continental breakfast, a kiosk selling discount theme park tickets, a shuttle, and a lobby convenience store selling soft drinks, snacks, souvenirs, phone cards, and gifts. One can hear a multitude of languages, as guests come from all walks of life.
This tropically-themed hotel has two portions, a timeshare facility and a hotel rental, with villas and suites for guest use. It is well-groomed and well-maintained, and close to area attractions like Disney theme parks, Downtown Disney, the outlets, Green Meadows Farm, Sunshine Helicopters, and Medieval Times. The tropical theme is pretty well carried out, right down to the tropical fruit scented soap in the bathrooms. Inside there is a ticket kiosk for purchasing area theme park tickets at steeply discounted rates that are well worth the price. Onsite, there are tons of amenities to keep the entire family entertained, from four pools, water slides, a kids splash zone and mini-golf to name a few things, as well as a bar and grill in the pool area for adults.
This budget hotel is located right next door to Days Inn Maingate, which gives the option of two low-cost places to stay that are very close to one another. There are many restaurants and shops nearby for visitors to choose from, and most of the attractions are not too far away. It appeared as if this hotel might be getting a new addition soon, as part of it was under construction.
While this area is close to many of Kissimmee's tourist attractions, and it offers many amenities for a low price. it screams low budget too loudly for my taste. However, others who come here seem to disagree, as the hotel is actively sold out on a regular basis. Perhaps it is the helpful and friendly staff that make the difference.
This hotel is located a short drive from the outlets and some other area tourist attractions, which is a plus. It is also walking distance from any souvenir shops, and there are plenty of restaurants to suit all budgets nearby. That being said, it is kind of out of the way for Disney, and when I tried to find it, the GPS took me to the wrong place, as I am sure it must for many people. That being said, this hotel offers a lot for the $45 per night room fee: free breakfast, vending machines and brochures in the lobby, an ATM, free Internet, a pool fridge, and microwave in the rooms, and a kiosk for purchasing discount theme park tickets. The hotel staff is currently working on getting a gym or fitness center for the place, but that hasn't happened yet.
Located in Kissimmee, this hotel is supposedly found in the Celebration resort area, but I thought it seemed really far and out of the way from Celebration and Disney. It definitely has a low budget feel, from the outside anyway. Inside the lobby is pretty nice, with comfy pleather couches and a car rental conveniently located in the lobby. Other amenities include a lobby ATM, game room, vending machines, and free breakfast. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and a grocery store across the street, making it a decent and inexpensive accommodation for those who need it.
This hotel is closed. It looks like it could have been nice while it was open.
GPS got confused looking for this place, which is kind of hard to find. The hotel website claims it is close to Orlando theme parks, especially Disney, but I didn't think that was the case. This area in Kissimmee seemed rundown and industrial; not my ideal hotel. Rather it seemed more like a truck stop motel, with its small lobby and lack of decor. At $29.95 per night, it would serve as a cheap place to sleep, and it does offer complimentary breakfast and coin-operated laundry.
This hotel provides a low cost place to stay near Disney and area outlets, with no frills but plenty of comfort. Rooms are spacious, with a sitting area, couch, refrigerator and microwave, and there is a pool on the premises for guests to enjoy. Currently there is no actual lobby, as a hotel fire in March damaged it, along with much of the third floor, which is under renovation. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful, willing to organize shuttles and go the extra mile. And pet owners should rejoice, as this hotel is pet-friendly, allowing all types of furry friends, provided they come on leash or in a carrier.
