A bit touristy, but aimed at Swiss tourists more than foreigners, and the menu shows it. Best roast chicken I've had in a long time, and a great location just steps from the center of town (and near the canal/river). Takeout chicken available.
Great views and "Marmot Paradise" - what more do you need! Summer or winter, this is a great spot - you look down on Lac Leman, and back across the Alps. Very very good gelato. They are a little bit tucked away, but once you go down the long hall anjd through the little courtyard, you'll reach the tiny shop. They have a constantly changing selection of hand made gelato (and a few sorbets). Try at least two flavors - they're all good!...more
Delicious seasonal food in a great location. Everything on the menu looked great, and we really liked the two very different meals that we had. Dessert was especially good, and service was great (including spot-on wine advice).

Amazing location, great food, super service, and lots of smiles from everyone. They handled our allergy requests with aplomb, and arranged for a great view of the Matterhorn (must have been them, right?).

Just across the lake the mountains rise directly up from the water, while on the same side they are less steep, but served by cablecar up to the ski slopes. Only...more
