We were just passing through on our way to Wyoming and were so awe struck by the views and impressed at the vegetarian options in the area, we decided to get a cabin here for 6 months. We look forward to a long snowy winter in this cozy mountain town!...more
This place has been a savior for us wi-fi wise. Their coffee is great and they have several awesome pastries and sandwiches that are or can be made vegetarian if asked. Great seating and a nice little fireplace, chess boards and other games. Love it on a cold winter day!...more
Erick's has great veggie burgers and meatless pizza options. The BBQ sauce on the pizza is a little intense but otherwise awesome. The seating options are always pretty good and the crowd is generally local. I'll be there a lot this winter!
We saw The Reverend Horton Heat here in a really intimate environment, compared to the last time I saw him, and I actually got to speak words to him when I had him sign my shirt, even if those words were stupid, I will always like this cruddy little basement venue. This town needs this, the rest of town is...more
A pretty nice relief from the cold if you don't feel like skiing or hiking in the snow flurries. The wall looked fun but I never got to use it. We used some of the equipment and walked the upstairs course. Equipment is in nice shape.
World famous so I'm told, but mostly too difficult for me so I could only use 2 slopes, when I tried to use a third, I nearly broke my neck and couldn't ski the rest of the season. Went to Dew Tour here and had expensive beers at the T Bar a couple times. Lots of seating and annoying lines if you are...more
It took us a while to make it to this place since we've lived here but glad we finally did. It's just around the corner from some of the places we go on a regular basis but we were worried it was part of a ski lodge and would be full of rich tourists. Luckily it wasn't but it was technically...more
We don't eat here because they have nothing vegetarian that we want but it's a good place to go to get a beer, especially on a weekend evening when they have live music. Had a really entertaining time watching a family from Maryland go crazy singing and dancing to dolled up cover songs played...more
This place is a bit crammed in there. The staff was mostly idiots during our 2 weeks there but the scenery cant be beat for an RV park in the area. It's also one of the only ones open year round in this part of Colorado. Right near town so everything was mostly good!...more
