This is a really good Western restaurant in Hanoi. The tapas were very nice. We came back and got the pesto (excellent) and the duck confit (quite good). The bread is crusty and wonderful. Recommended!

Right near the Temple of Literature, this is a lovely art museum. The ground floor has some ancient art which I particularly enjoyed. There was also an excellent temporary exhibit. It was not at all crowded which was a bonus too.
The water puppet show is really interesting. Of course it's aimed at tourists but still I found it a great show and learned a lot about Vietnamese myth and culture. It won't break your budget, so give it a try!
