Whenever I have a guest coming into town, I recommend the W. The ambiance is fun, young and hip. Don't miss out on POV. Grab a drink and enjoy one of the best rooftop views in DC.
When I moved to DC from New York a few years ago, I
kept missing my NY style slices. So, enter We, The Pizza. Aside from the killer pies, we serve housemade sodas, delicious wings, salads and Italian subs. But be sure to save some room for dessert, our salted caramel gelato is the ultimate game changer
Naturally I have to write a review for a fellow Top Chef
alum. Mike Isabella’s Graffiato brings some Jersey Italian swag to the table at this new restaurant. The Sweet Corn Agnolotti is out of this world. My tip: get there early to order the secret, off-the-menu dessert, Zeppoles dusted with strawberry powered sugar. They only made a handful each night.
When you’re feeling nostalgic for anything France,
look no further. Inside Bistrot Du Coin you find an authentically
French food, wine and atmosphere. You cannot go wrong with the Steak Frites, but make sure that you order some moules too. This is one of my favorite places to eat in DC, the food is consistently great.
When you’re craving juicy burgers, handcut fries
and handspun shakes, make sure to head over to Good Stuff Eatery. I
opened up this restaurant with my family and everything on the menu
reflects that. From my brother-in-law Cliff's Vidalia Onion Petals to
my Uncle's chili recipe, the food is filled with love. Swing by and
check out our mayo bar, where you can try a mango mayonnaise, Chipotle
mayonnaise, Old Bay mayonnaise and, my personal favorite, the Sriracha
mayonnaise. I wholeheartedly believe that this is one of the best
restaurants in the world, not that I have a bias or anything.
