Mo's West
122 1st St, Otter Rock, OR, United States
Steve Maramonte's rating: 5

There are a few Mo's located up and down the coast, but this one has the best view in my opinion. It's on the otter crest loop or reachable from 101 Southbound descending Cape Foul Weather. You can walk 99 stairs down to Beverly Beach from here, a fun and leisurely beach walk for miles. Take the 99 stairs back up or get picked up at the drive in parking lot South of Mo's (Beverly Beach State Park)

Best Carmel light frap I've ever had, hands-down, right next to Beach Dog Cafe. Seems like a family run business and out of the four of them, I can't tell which one of them is friendlier!

The tours at Tillimook Dairy Farms are a lot of fun, even if you're not into dairy products. It's a fun drive and kiddos really love the ice cream here!

I love this place because it's a restaurant AND fresh fish market. Take your time here and enjoy everything they have to offer, especially lessons on sustainable fishing habits. Sign up for the newsletter and receive special event notices and coupons.

This is the closest lighthouse to The Sandpiper vacation rental. The climb to the top of the stairs is more than worth the effort.

Gracies Sea Hag Incorporated
58 N Us-101, Depoe Bay, OR 97341
Steve Maramonte's rating: 4

Gracies has a lot of history, you will notice immediately walking in. They have a restaurant side and a lounge side with a few slot machines. Gracie used to play drums on the pots and pans rack here late nights but has since retired unfortunately.

Barnacle Bill's Seafood Market
2174 NE Hwy 101, Lincoln City, OR, United States

Go here for the daily catch and a huge selection, its located at the North end of Lincoln City. I suggest going before noon as some selections sell out. Don't miss the smoked salmon here!

Agate Beach Golf Course
4100 N Coast Hwy, Newport, OR 97365
Steve Maramonte's rating: 5

This is a fun little track for cheap, and has been around since the 1920's. Pretty easy to just show up and walk on, even as a foursome if you go early.

This is a great little town to visit with friendly people. It is by far the best place on the Oregon coast to discover tide pools at low tide. Always take your complimentary tide books with you when traveling up and down HWY 101!

OPRD Whale Watching Center
119 U.S. 101, Depoe Bay, OR, United States
Steve Maramonte's rating: 5

This is a great place to see resident and migrating whale activity. There is a daily count of sightings even in the off season and so much you can learn here. I highly suggest stopping at this center, especially if you are already on foot in downtown Depoe Bay.

Cross Creek Golf Course
13935 Oregon 22, Dallas, OR, United States
Steve Maramonte's rating: 5

You'll drive by this course if you take the Salem route to the coast from the airport. It looks like an easy course from the highway with sprawling fairways and few trees, but there is a reason they call it Cross Creek. If lay ups and course management are your favorite way to play...this is your course!

I don't gamble much, but I have been here twice now. Friendly and fun dealers at the tables and at the bar with a seafood buffet on Friday nights that is well above average.

This beach is just a few miles North of "The Sandpiper" vacation rental and is a great place for picture taking. I like to go here at low tide and always find something unique when I do.

This place has it all, golf, spa, restaurant, even shops. If your handicap is 6 or over, I do not suggest going from the championship tees. The course is challenging and will punish you if you don't play "course management" trust me.
