One of the more reasonable options in Santa Fe. Fabulous margaritas, great beer list, huge portions of food. New Mexican themed so think green chilies and lots of flavor. Great place to refuel while shopping-- convenient to the plaza.
Nice high end Native American (mainly Navajo) arts and crafts (emphasis on the Arts) when we visited. Museum quality with prices to match. The owner actually grew up in the Shiprock area in a family of trading post owners so he knows a ton and has great taste....more
Just out of town this Japanese themed spa is a great place to get a massage and relax after a hard day (or two) of shopping. Community and private pools are on offer and service and amenities are top notch!
I always tell people to head here. It is just north of town near the opera. Huge outdoor flea market with vendors selling crafts coming from all over the world. Great authentic fresh Thai food. Funky location, great prices. They are serious about their spices and things can be hot even by New Mexico standards so be aware when ordering. Great selection of options-- yum!

This is amazing-- covering tens of thousands of artifacts all with really in depth explanations, but the contemporary exhibits are my favorite. Utilizing video to help illustrate and explain various topics-- just fabulous. They often have artisans working in the plaza. Great gift shop!!!...more
Amazing collection. The educational materials are very thorough. It is huge, covers a huge diversity of cultures-- the hispanic wing is amazing. This gift shop is one of the more interesting places to browse in the city.
