Konditerei means a cafe where they bake their own cakes. This is one of the oldest in Salzburg. Their cakes are fantastic as is the hot chocolate - a cozy refuge on a wet day. One of my favorite places to go in Salzburg in the summer. There is a big beer garten in the back where you can sit at picnic tables under the shade of big trees and drink big mugs of beer, eat fresh hot pretzels and sausages, and enjoy the company.

Really fun bar. Gets pretty rowdy as the evening goes on, with great music, dancing and good revelry. Not a romantic spot, not very kid friendly, but if you are looking to have a good time this is the best spot in town.
