    Park City

Stayed at the Marriott Mountainside, it was perfect. You can walk out of your room and hit the slopes. Very clean and great location! The downtown area has lots of great restaurants and shops. We went and Christmas time and really enjoyed seeing the lights.

    Moab and Arches National Park

    7 reviews

We went to Bryce, Zion and Arches national parks within 5 days which probably isn't particularly fair on Arches as it seemed overshadowed by the grandeur of Zion and the whimsy of Bryce. Arches was nice, some fine hiking but didn't seem amazing by comparison.

    Zion National Park

Having grown up (at least in part) in Moab, I have never been that enchanted with Zion. Great views, great camping, but not as unique as the locals seem to think!

The views provided from most parts of Provo make this city better than it actually is. It's a college town (BYU/UVU) that has a lot of mountain getaways right nearby. The downfall is that there isn't a lot to do here.

Went thru Kanab a few times now...on the way back from Sedona and a few times going the back side into Zion National way to come out of Zion as its a really pretty drive and there are tons of herds of deer in the big open meadows. cool little town too.

Laid back town out in the countryside especially come evening time. For you travelers with 4-legged friends, there's a Doggy Dude Ranch about 3 miles out of Zion NP's Southern exit so you can tackle those off-trail hikes with your 2-legged loved ones.

    Arches National Park

This is a beautiful state park with a lot of redeeming qualities. I had a wonderful day of exploring here with friends before our car broke down. It was 112 degrees at the time. The only thing I can say that isn't great about the trip is exactly what makes it so is far from a big city. I ...

I just love the people here. The easiness of the city. This is a lovely blend of a country and urban city. The navigating was easy and the people oh so very helpful. There were so many family friendly activities. Some how i felt safe here and that was very welcoming.

A fantastic resort town that is built around the gorgeous mountains that house some of the best runs in the world. I love it here during the winter when the mountain is full and the snow is can't beat it!

    Lake Powell

    21 reviews

I like to describe Lake Powell as the Grand Canyon filled with water. This is one of my favorite vacation destinations in the world, and there is plenty do whether you are house boating for a week, or just exploring for a day. The marinas in Arizona (Wahweap and Antelope Point) are both very nice.
