The least pretty of the trois valees, Val Thorens is also home to some of my favorite ski runs, so it still gets five stars. The highest part of les trois vallees, val thorens can be counted on for great, untouched snow and incredible runs.

Val Thorens gives you access to the Three Valleys ski area, which has over 370 miles of groomed slopes, making it worlds biggest connected ski area. So you can ski for days without visiting the same slope twice. Val Thorens has plenty of reasonably priced accommodation options and great après-ski spots. So I can definitely recommend it for beginners as well are very experienced skiers.

Ski runs for noobs and pros. Quite nice snowboard park! Awesome afterski @ La Folie Douce. Not as expensive as Courchevel and Meribel, but if you want to spend some cash they are easily accessible. Btw, this place is reachable by train from London.
