    Stanley Park

    108 reviews

An absolutely beautiful park that runs along side the marina as well as a beach (Third Beach). The park is great for taking a stroll, jogging, walking your dogs, having a picnic, etc. It's huge! We kind of just drove through as we were getting ready to head back to Seattle. We pulled over here and there for some photos. ...

    Granville Island

    72 reviews

Because this was the "tourist" spot to go to, my parents wanted to check this place out during our visit to Vancouver. It definitely was a very pretty and pleasing to the eye place to visit, especially going under that big archway that says "Granville Island." There are a lot of parking spots, but it seems like this place is ...

The oldest part of town definitely has its charms with is cobblestone streets & restored buildings. It is a bit overloaded with souvenir shops but the steam clock and choice of restaurants make it a Vancouver landmark.

    Vancouver Aquarium

    45 reviews

Not many aquariums are this cool, and this one hosts a classy event like none other. I'm particularly fond of the otters, and as a general tourist location, it's just fine. But if you get the opportunity to attend an event here in the evening, do not miss it.

    Robson Street

    36 reviews

This is a must visit street. At the west end amidst all the condos, you have endless choices for food and drink. Continue uphill into the downtown area and you have shops, especially clothing shops, which increase in price point the further east you walk. Excellent for people viewing as well.

    Lions Gate Bridge

    27 reviews

Beautiful view on the bridge, and the bridge itself is beautiful too. Everyone should know the history of this bridge, which will make driving on it thrilling. Downside is, the driver won't be able to see the view.

    Gastown Steam Clock

    34 reviews

It's a clock. It's a Steam Clock. Seems too over rated I think. It is okay to observe if you are in the Gastown area otherwise you can skip it. Don't go out of your way to see this else you'll probably be disappointed.

This is where I spent most of my time during the summer months of Vancouver! Its always crowded with people as it is in the trendy kits area, full of great restaurants and shops nearby. Theres also an outdoor pool, basketball/tennis courts, and people playing beach volleyball, so its great for those of you who like summer sports.

    English Bay Beach

    14 reviews

English Bay Beach is in Stanley Park. While it's not a place to dip your toes in the water (I heard in the summertime, the water is still extremely cold), it's a nice leisurely place to go when the weather is clear and sunny.
