It's fitting that the 2010 Winter Olympic Games would keep the flame alive in this harbor location. There are places to eat in the plaza and sightseeing boats and planes depart there. It's close to luxury hotels and offers great views of the harbor and the mountains in the distance.

The Cauldron sits in a pool of water so you wouldn't really get too close to it. You could touch it and take pictures. I'm not too impressed with it but I guess it is still part of history so it's worth a visit.

2010 was an amazing year for Vancouver and this Olympic flame memorializes that. Situated in Jack Poole Plaza, named after the guiding force behind our Olympic journey, has some of the best views in the city and is the starting point for the seawall trek around Stanley Park - both are not to be missed!

This place is cool to go to and see the caldron that was lit for the Winter Olympics 2010. I saw it lit during the Winter Olympics and it was nice! If you are ever in the Vancouver Canada area, check it out!

Jack Poole Plaza still brings great memories. Must be red to support the Paralympic athletes.
