I was really impressed with the Vatican Vista Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are modestly decorated and extremely comfortable, and most of the rooms offer pretty decent views of the surroundings. You can even see the cupola of St Peter's from this locale! There's a kitchen available for use, this is pretty much a standard bed & breakfast. The area around the Vatican Vista B&B is always bustling with activity, and there are tons of restaurants and shops -- yes, many of them are extremely touristy -- but there's always something to do, and the Vatican is just a hop, skip and a jump away. There are also trams and buses that stop nearby, and it is really easy to get to other parts of the city. It's also located on the fourth floor so at night the street noise is certainly less of a bother. Excellent for its location and excellent for its comfort. If you want to be in the center of it all, I highly recommend this bed & breakfast.

Where in Rome can you get the loveliest day and especially night views of St. Peter's Basilica, the sheer convenience of a 10-min walk to Vatican City (and cutesy shops around if you're the shopping type), and most of all the warmest hospitality of Rossana (the landlady) who willing offered us advice, suggestions and useful tips, and even made us to promise to call her when we got to our next destination - Naples - all because she's worried for our safety. On top of that, free wifi, computer and printer for your use. highly recommended.
