Really nice and a fantastic place simply to walk through and visit if you're staying somewhere else. Location wise it does not get much better than this. You're right in the middle of the strip!Recommended for:

I been to the Macau location, and enjoy that one more than here. Bigger and felt more class, there's more high end casino in the strip so therefore this one isn't felt as special. I felt they copy the forum mall style from Caesar, not as original. Both are italian style. But this one is a bit more modern, but I prefer with a theme and historic like Caesar.

Friendly service, convenient location and comfortable hotel rooms.
While many of the newer hotels on the strip might have stolen the spotlight for this once highly popular luxury resort, the Venetian remained one of my preferred places to stay.
All of their suites are spacious with excellent floor plans. The separate sunken living room has large sofa and a decent size dining table are great for having friends over. Be careful with the stairs though. The wooden floor could be slippery.
Rooms were in overall pretty good condition. Decor was slightly dated but amenities were well maintained. Ladies will love their bathrooms. The vanity table with the lighted makeup mirror really came in handy. You will have everything you need to look pretty.
The casino and lobby area were always busy with the main aisles crowded with guests dragging their luggage around . Use the Venezia tower elevators if you could. It might be a slightly longer walk but you can bypass many of the traffic.
The location really can't get any better. It is at the heart of strip surrounded by the nicer hotels. Sephora and Walgreens were next door. Fashion show mall is just a short walk away and there are plenty of good restaurants to choose from.Recommended for:

After staying in several affordable hotels in vegas, I'd like to say this is by far my favorite. All the rooms are suites and it's perfect if you're going with a group of friends. No one has to sleep on the floor!
The top 3 reason I like the Venetian:
1.The hotel that is located in the middle of the strip
3. Immaculate (I get paranoid about cleanliness)
The shopping center inside is fun to walk around in. Something about the fake sky and the little canal makes me feel like I'm on vacation mode. The cheesy gondola ride full of tourists amuses me.
The suite includes: 2 comfy queen size beds, 1 pullout bed, 1 nice bathroom (shower and tub) and a mediocre view.Recommended for:

I basically plowed down the Vegas strip, anxiously making my way to the Venetian to see if they'd done my favorite city justice. Turns out, they did! Obviously, it's not as incredible as Venice, but it's pretty cool to see gondolas rowing through the hotel and the ceilings painting like blue Venetian skies.Recommended for:

As decadent as you'd expect a Venetian-themed hotel to be, this beautiful hotel is a great place to spend a luxurious Vegas vacation. If you've got the coin, spring for a suite, complete with living room, kitchenette, sitting area, and huge bathroom with jacuzzi tub. This hotel also boasts the nightclub Tao, famous for celebrity sightings.Recommended for:

This was a nice hotel that I recently spent a weekend at with a bunch of friends for a bachelor party. We all seemed to enjoy the place. We ended up with a couple of adjoining suites and packed them to the gunnels.
The couches and beds were comfy. The rooms were properly equipped with ironing boards, multiple TVs, Hi ball glasses, etc. We were wishing that we had some bigger ice buckets! As it was we had to do the motel 6 move of taking the igloo to the ice machine and well you know how that goes...
PRO TIP #1: Always take the free Valet parking!
The hotel provided a myriad of little bathroom items that are always needed by someone; shower cap w/scrunche, mending kit, emery board and something, and q-tips. That is in addition to the standard soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.
The decor was nice and with the suites not low end. The rooms were narrow but long with a railing for the living room area but no fridge or cooking area at all.
PRO TIP #2: make sure you always have a key card with you or the group you are in whenever you go downstairs. They post guards to key card check the rooms... annoying but gotta keep the hookers out somehow eh?
The main entrance has some wonderfully colonnaded arches and vaulted ceilings. The colors are matched throughout the entire facility. Dark wood accents in the restaurants to the furniture in the rooms. Khaki stonework throughout the main casino entrance and hallways as well as the paint in the rooms.
Overall it was a great stay, but its a bit pricey I think as well. The hotel service was lacking at times as we had to order extra towels and didnt end up with maid service in one of our two rooms grrrrr... but overall it was a great stay for us.Recommended for:

From the moment we stepped into the lobby we were taken aback by how well presented the hotel was, the size of it and the attention to detail. Walking through the hotel its easy to forget your in Las Vegas and not Venice. It is very luxurious indeed, The Doge's Palace, the Campanile, The Bridge of Sighs, the gondoliers make it surreal in the extreme.
The entire hotel keeps to the Venice theme with gondola's running on a canal through the shopping mall, a replica of St Marks square and beautiful paintings on the ceilings. It's classy and elegant and quite literally incredible.Recommended for:

I and my family stayed here for a couple of nights and we loved it. It's way beyond our expectations...clean and big space. My kids had so much room to play. My husband can relax after long drive. I am so happy in everything it has. With the price I payed, it's totally a very good deal. I stronglly recommend that if you go to vegas, Stay at the Venetian. All the things you need is in the hotel. We will definitely go back and bring family members. Thanks for the wonderful experience. We love The Venetian!Recommended for:

Although I think the rooms and clubs are more of a 4, I am still never tired of The Venetian because they have a great variety of shopping options, the beautiful Gondola ride & waters, as well as free entertainment everyday in the shopping areas (usually 15-20 minute shows of small Venetian skits). A destination that never disappoints, this place is versatile since it's good for the entire family or the lovebirds!Recommended for:

To me, Venetian is a place to stay while in Las Vegas. I like the way they try to create an atmosphere of being in Venice. Sure, it’s all “fake” and doesn’t come even remotely close to the real thing. But most hotels in Vegas are an imitation of something else, so I happened to like this one. Its central location on the strip makes it easy to explore the main attractions. I really liked the spacious room, with sunken living room and a huge bed (you could remotely control the curtains and shades on the window from your bed). You can often find special deals for this hotel, so price could be fairly reasonable.Recommended for:

Venetian, predecessor to the Palazzo is a great hotel. It's in a great location, and I consider it one of the higher quality hotels in Vegas, characterized by a European Old World style. If you want a more sophisticated feeling hotel, this is a great option. If you want a party crowd, try Planet Hollywood or New York, New York. I like the clubs on this part of the strip better though.Recommended for:

The twin brother, the Reemis to The Palazzos’ Romulus, if you will. These two properties are connected and share the Canal Shops. One of the nicest properties in Las Vegas. The pumped in lavender helps to disperse the cigarette smoke. There is a great selection of restaurants as well. But a word of caution, Gentlemen do not think for one second that you can get out of taking your significant other to the real Venice by going here. Why not stop by and take ride in a gondola. Live it up, you are in Las Vegas for cryin’ out loud!

While this is not my first choice in Las Vegas The Venetian generally does not disappoint with its good rooms, restaurants, shops and casinos! The location on the strip is absolutely perfect so can walk to everything and experience it all.Recommended for:

My days of staying at a cheap $30 a night are over! Previously, my notion of Vegas was to stay at the cheapest hotel then party and eat at the nicer hotels. Spectating hotels and walking the strip is not the same as staying in one. In college, the partying was non stop. so what's the big deal? Why waste money, if you aren't gonna sleep anyways? It's time that we graduated from those days of back breaking beds and smoked up casino air. You should spoil yourself and wake up a king or a queen, not a cheap hooker that smells like smoke.
Last year, I was treated to a suite at The Venetian and it changed my life. Look for weekday promotions!! Last year, we got a special for $129 a night. This year its only about $79 a night. Previously, the best hotel I stayed at was MGM, which is still on of my favorites. Still have Mandalay, Wynn, Caesars Palace and Aria to try out but that's another review. My goal at Venetian was to have a relaxing weekend and not think about work. So I did it right! I started off with early check-in. I didn't know that existed, but glad I got there early so I can enjoy the hotel for an extra 2 hours. I like how the greeter would get our name before check-in so she can formal introduce us to the desk clerk. "Here is Mr. and Mrs. *LASTNAME*" So formal and it made my gf happy because we aren't married.
Entering my room.. I started to do the MTV cribs/ Life styles of the Rich and Famous. Take a lot of pictures and give yourself a tour of the Good Life imagining that this could be a permit thing. Then like a little kid jump on the King Size bed with excitement. Then straight to the tub/jacuzzi for a relaxing bubble bath. Afterward, I put on the robe and gain instant Heff status. Fix yourself a drink and put on a movie or just watch a sports game. RELAX! No running around in the hot summer desert sun. Just relax relax and more relaxation. The tables and slots can wait until later.
I'm not very great at describing the details or decorations. Shopping Malls, art, and an escape from the normal Las Vegas madness. Forget about celebrates and reading great reviews, try it and decided for yourself.Recommended for:

The Venetian was a beautiful hotel. I stayed at a suite here and it was on the very top floor, the 28th floor. There was a nice view of Vegas from the window. The bed here was huge and comfy. The bathroom was also really big. I liked the fact that there were mirrors everywhere, so that everyone had a mirror to get ready with. It was truly a pleasure to have stayed at the Venetian.

This has to have been one of my best experiences in Vegas, period. The Bella suite that the Venetian offers makes the stay in Vegas just all that more top-class. From the gondola rides down in the plaza to the poolside beats of music in the summer, the Venetian is my number 1 destination whenever I head to Vegas.
