    Bacareto Da Lele

Campo Dei Tolentini 183, Venice, Italy
    3 reviews

5 stars for the atmosphere. This is literally a hole in the wall, which has been around for decades. Lele and his son work behind the counter to serve little ombras and snacks. Tasty little sandwiches and catches of the day. Menu changes daily. Sit on the steps of a nearby church and soak in your surroundings. It's usually packed ...

    Le Bistrot de Venise

Calle dei Fabbri 4685 30124 Venice, Italy
    3 reviews

On my 3 visits to Venice, I've eaten here twice. Both occasions were excellent. The food was incredible and the service was perfect. Highly recommend any and all of the pasta dishes. They served an appetizer of fresh Parmesan cheese with a bit of honey - unusual combination but they complemented each other wonderfully.

    Harry's Dolci

    Giudecca, 773, Venice 30133 Italy

Go to Harry’s Dolci on a beautiful day, sit outside and savor your prosecco, your lunch, and the view, and afterwards take a stroll along the Fondamenta to see Palladio's pristine Redentore church, a nice walk to wear off the pasta. Then take the vaporetto a short hop to see San Giorgio and the good new glass museum behind it ...

    Osteria alle Testiere

Calle del Mondo Novo, 5801, 30122 Venice, Italy
    4 reviews

Tiny restaurant, very good food, must reserve well in advance (before you leave for Venice) as it is nearly impossible to get a table on short notice. Menu changes daily, prices are reasonable, good wine list.

    Ristorante Osteria Da Fiore S.R.L.

Sestiere San Polo, 2202, 30125 Venezia, Italia
    6 reviews

By far the worst Michelin star restaurant I have ever been to 1. Service was extremely slow (it was NOT busy at all) 2. They put wine bottle far away, but never poored the wine themselves, we had to ask 5 or 6 times to refill our glasses 3. The courses were not served in a smooth tempo, starter was ...

    Gran Caffè Quadri

    Piazza San Marco, 120 30124
    3 reviews

On my most recent visit to Venice, we spent almost every night sitting at Gran Caffè Quadri, sipping delicious wine or bellinis and enjoying the fresh olives, nuts, and chips. The caprese salad is also a delight.

    I figli delle stelle

Giudecca, 70/71, 30133 Venice VE, Italy
    3 reviews

Ambitiously called "children of the stars" this romantic restaurant lives up to its name, for lunch or for dinner. The restaurant sits on the banks of the Grand Canal across from Saint Mark's. In the evening there is simply no better view in Venice. The food is incredible and the service superior. Be sure and get a glass of their ...

    Food & Art Judecca

Giudecca Calle Larga Dell'asilo 30133, Venezia

A great place for breakfast, lunch or an evening apéritif. Located on a quiet courtyard with plenty of space for children to play and dogs to roam, there is a fresh, fun atmosphere around Food & Art Judecca. Also a student lunch cafeteria, the food is delicious and gourmet. Here you will find a familiar, local atmosphere mixed with artsy ...

    Rosso Pomodoro

Calle Larga San Marco 404, 30124 Venice, Italy
    3 reviews

It's quick and simple food but it's done extremely well. I came back several times while in Venice, I couldn't get enough of the tender homemade pasta. Though it almost feels kind of like fast-food pasta, it's extremely good. The location was also central to the Hotel Londra Palace where I was staying, which was nice.

    Al Timon

Sestiere Cannaregio, 2754, 30121 Venice Province of Venice, Italy
    3 reviews

Timon means rudder and the environment is inspired to it. It is a very informal place where to have good meat dishes with very inviting dishes of vegetables. There are tables also outside and the place is crowded with people for aperitivo with small ham, vegetables and cheese rolls. There is a boat outside where you can sit down to ...

    Paradiso Perduto

Fondamenta della Misericordia, 2540, Venice, Italy
    2 reviews

What used to be a horse stable in Napoleonic times is today a swinging, happening place. Owner Maurizio Adamo has been owner for 35 years. Discover an abundance of typical Venetian food and wine right on the bank of a canal, in the heart of Cannaregio. Every Monday night there is live music, usually excellent local bands.

    Al Graspo de Ua

    Sestiere S. Marco 5094, 30124 Venezia, Italy
    2 reviews

Excellent, upscale, and pricy. We had a very very long meal here because we had decided to have a nice relaxing dinner. Didn't realize it was going to include going through three bottles of wine (oops, I think I just shared too much). If you want to splurge on a great meal, this is the place.
