    Venice Beach Wines

Cute but little wine bar with an amazing selection of cheeses, cured meats and even beer. I greatly appreciate the delicate balance of all four they offer! And walking distance to the beach. Be prepared to wait tho!

    Lemonade

    4.5
    24 reviews

Love this place for the healthy food, cafeteria style! Parking may be difficult on weekends, so you may have to circle around the neighborhoods. There can be long lines during meal rush hours as well. Love the truffle mac and cheese and red quinoa. Love the watermelon and blueberry lemonades too.

    Gjelina

This place has yet to disappoint me. Every time, it's been excellent food! All of it! Vegetarians can eat here without question. The salads are alive with unique mixes, but my favorite was the smoked wild trout with grapefruit and avocado. It's hard to share this salad, but with so many good things on the menu (terribly designed with leading ...

    Wurstküche - Venice

    4.5
    10 reviews

As you're driving down Lincoln, passing through Venice, you might never notice this place. Wurstkuche storefronts remind me of a warehouse and their decor is somewhat industrial feeling. Turn onto Vernon Avenue to find street parking in the neighborhood, which is almost always available. As for the food, they specialize in sausages - everything from a classic bratwurst to exotic ...

One of my favorite spots! Located on Main Street in Santa Monica. Amazing Asian-fusion food with incredible seafood. The restaurant itself is chic and lively with great cocktails. They also have a great, lively happy hour with half price sushi.

    Gjelina Take Away

Loved everything about this place! I hated sitting in the cold alley but it was an interesting 'wtf?!'experience. The place isn't hard to find thanks to their artsy-graffiti exterior. So sad that they were out of blossom squash(?), their most popular pizza. The guy who works their suggested the pomodoro crudo, which had garlic and basil instead of squash. The ...

    James' Beach

Best mid-to-upper scale beach bar in Venice. A really cool hangout with great food and especially fun during evening hours. Go in the early evening and grab a place at the bar. Drinks are strong, the food is amazing and the bartenders are great people. You'll sometimes catch a celebrity or two in here, but they'll be hanging with the ...

    Jin Patisserie

    9 reviews

A Patisserie with a Zen Garden, how cool is that? The style of the pastries is European with Asian influences - subtle and delicate. You don't even need to have a sweet tooth to fall in love with this place. The nice lady working there recommended Passion based on my preference and it was indeed exactly what I like. Love ...

    Hama Sushi, Venice

    4.5
    8 reviews

Hama is one of the best sushi joints on LA's west side. This is a great place, just off the beach, to get your fill of specialty rolls, sake bombs and edamame galore. Great staff and friendly vibe. Not so fancy, but very welcoming and comfortable.

Vegetarian? HA! This is Meat Central. Delicious, smoked, basted, fall-off-the-bone rib meat. Sure, you could go "vegetarian" and get a combination of their sides, but if it's for moral purposes you swing in that particular culinary direction, I'd steer clear (do you see what I did there?). It's not the BEST BBQ I've ever had. The cornbread, too, could be ...

Abbot's Pizza Co - Venice Food Delivery

My favorite place by the beach to pick up a cheap slice of pizza. The bagel crust is yum, and the toppings run the gamut from vegan / veggie to full-on carnivore.

    Venice Ale House

Right on the boardwalk in Venice finally some real California dreaming! Venice Ale House is our hood's new awesome local but done Cali style- all local wines and beers and the food is farmer's market fresh. No crisp packets here though many, many Brits. The burger rocks and for the meatless eaters, a comfy grilled cheese with homemade tomato and ...

#BeStuffed #BeTipsy Who needs a happy hour when empanadas and fish tacos are $5? Still, we recommend stopping by at the happy hour (5pm) when they open since they don't accept reservations. BrokeGirlsGuide.com

    The Tasting Kitchen

Along Abbot Kinney Boulevard are many great restaurants. But among the shining stars of the restaurant scene here is The Tasting Kitchen. Everything is so fresh and delicious. A very nice take on Californian cuisine. Try the chef's menu with friends and be prepared to be bombarded with lots of food.

My favorite mexican place on the west side. Not a taqueria - this is traditional mexican. Try the chile relleno burrito if you think you can handle the cheese. Really great margaritas as well served in a shaker! Open until the wee hours of the night.
