    In-N-Out Burger

    5 reviews

Best fast food burger. Don't forget the fries-they are the best, but you have to eat them while they are hot. The menu is limited so if you're vegetarian go with the grilled cheese-it's yummy! Shakes are pretty good, too.

Big conformable cafe draws a large and diverse crowd of travelers. Espresso drinks are good. Nice selections of teas. Good western breakfasts (pancakes, etc).

    Lure Fish House

    3 reviews

Great place for fresh fish and seafood. The menu has a wide variety. We love the New England Clam Chowder and fish tacos. It can turn into a bit of a scene on weekend nights and the wait can be long.

    Greek House Cafe

Seems a little pricey, but completely worth-it once you see the portion size. Highly recommend the pita gyros.

    Pete's Breakfast House

Gotta say I was expecting some pretty A-Mazingness thanks to Triple D w/Guy Fieri. He might have set me expectations wayyyyy to high. Though the food was good, it def not worth an hour and a half drive. I was super excited for the chorizo burger. However, it was pretty bland except for the spiciness, which wasn't even that spicy. ...

    Anacapa Brewing Company

    4 reviews

A relatively new-ish microbrewery in downtown Ventura with a large food menu. Their brews (at least the ones we had) were good and they apparently rotate them relatively often. There aren't a lot of vegetarian options here, but the things they have are good. It's a relatively loud place, and our waiter wasn't great, but it is definitely worth a ...

    Watermark Restaurant

    3 reviews

Inside a gorgeously restored old bank building, this restaurant aims high, with prices on the menu to match. I wouldn't necessarily spend the dough to eat dinner here again (though the lobster pot pie was enormous and delish). But I might swing by on a weekend night to visit the little penthouse bar filled with college kids, Baby Boomers and ...

    El Tecolote Restaurant

    3 reviews

A family favorite, ever since my grandparents moved here in 1958, it's been there forever. The menu is back to their original recipes and is just as good as 25 years ago. If your local your bound to run into someone you know every visit (at least that is the way it has been for me)
