I simply love this place because of its view and ambience. Located on the 59 th floor of Banyan Tree Hotel, it perhaps has the best eagle view in the entire Bangkok. Dress code to the restaurant is formal, no shorts and no sandals

I agree with the review - it is an absolutely high end restaurant which offers best in class Thai food in Bangkok. Try the steam fish with chilli - simply wonderful (among other dishes). You can't go wrong with any order here.

This was the place I was most impressed with in all of Bangkok. Sure, there are all kinds of beautiful palaces, historical gardens and beautiful waterfront. But where on Earth do you get a view like this?? Nowhere. This is amazing. An open air patio bar on top of one of Bangkok's highest skyskrapers. Vertigo is the only fitting name ...

Fuji Japanese Restaurant - Silom Complex

    0.54 mi from Vertigo

Fuji is like the Japanese version of Denny's. The full color photos of the food in the menu make ordering as easy as pointing and grunting. The food is solid and the service friendly despite the high volume of clientele going through this popular chain and even if you're a freak for Japanese there's enough authenticity here to get those ...

Chef David Thompson is probably the most Thai-food-obsessed non-Thai in the world. His restaurant in Bangkok got serious flack when it opened, because he's a foreigner, but he has done extraordinary work in reviving lost recipes and techniques. A meal here is served Thai-style, with everything on the table at once, so it's easy to get overwhelmed. Just pace yourself ...

No fills sushi restaurant located in Silom district of Bangkok. A lot of sushi restaurants in Bangkok can cost you and arm and a leg, but Taketei is quite cheap the the fish is very fresh. I preferred the sashimi and sushi, over the sushi rolls I had, but overall I was happy with my meal. The service was friendly ...

Unpretentious little Hai restaurant, serving up the tasty, tangy, fiery Isan food of northern Thailand, is my favorite restaurant in Bangkok. With fabulous laab meat-salads (grilled chicken with mint is my favorite), outstanding green-papaya salads, and tasty sticky rice to accompany, it's one of the best places for grub in the Silom district, just 3 minutes from the skytrain. Not ...

    La Table De Tee

    0.33 mi from Vertigo
    1 review

This tiny restaurant in the Silom neighborhood, with their excellent Thai-fusion degustation menu (it changes weekly) is a delight for upscale but unpretentious dining in the Thai capital. Carmelized hazelnuts, shaved truffles, and prawns sauteed in butter sound amazing? Call to book a table well ahead of time -- it's often full-up here on weekends.

Zaab is one of my favorite places in Thailand to her Issan (Esarn) food. Issan is the country/ farm region of Thailand and some of Thailand's best cuisines originated from this area. Zaab translates to "delicious" in Issan dialect. Zaab is located in the basement of the Silom Complex shopping center, but is pretty cheap compared to most other mall ...
