Via Cola di Rienzo is a picturesque street of fashionable stores near Vatican City. If you happen to have a break from the museums, take a detour here and pick up some snacks at Castroni, a very old and very large specialty foods store. And while the street is near one of the most visited tourist spots in the world, you'll find mostly locals shopping here all the same.Recommended for:Trendsters

A nice street in quartiere Prati where to go for not so expensive shopping. There are Mango, Subdued and other cheap shops, but also som others expensive with very beautiful pieces. It is always crowded.

This is a very cool ave near the Vatican and also Castle St. Angelo. There's a stop on the A line metro. On the weekends, there are open air markets with all sorts of trinkets, from socks and underwear, to handmade linens, scarves and pots and pans. The shops along this road are more expensive than the market bits and bobs, but they're fun to look in and you can occasionally find a deal. Baloon is on this road, and some upscale bathing suit shops and sunglasses etc. There is a place called Castroni, for imports and also local favorites in the food/wine/luxury kitchen goods area. This is the only place in the entire city I was able to find Cranberry juice. The Italians are not big on that one. ; )
