This space is not only a fine dining restaurant, but it is also a piece of local history. Located at the old Canadian National train station, abandoned in 1913, this French Quarter space offers a unique decor that harkens a different era when rail travel was elegant. The food is as sophisticated as the surroundings with international and local French favorites on offer. Coquille St. Jacques, Ocsar Neptune and Chateaubriand are among the best in the house! It is the French quarter of Winnipeg, so service may lack a bit if you are not of the French nature. However, the restaurant does do it's best for all customers and for service despite the barrier. The restaurant does require a more formal dress (no jeans) and it's best to make reservations ahead of time for this venue. You can choose to be more casual by booking in the caboose or you can dress to the nines and dine by the fire. One of Winnipeg's best dining places for sure :)
