    Hotel Sacher Wien

    Hotel Sacher Wien

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    18 reviews

I went here only for trying the original Sacher torte so I cannot give any advice about rooms. However the hotel is really elegant and amazing. The famous sacher torte is something you won't forget once you have tried it. There are also very small sacher torte to go. Fantastic.

Location can't be beat at this hotel. Neither can the amenities. Nothing is spared from the soaps to the restaurant, and to the A List guests that walk about in their big black sunglasses and escorted here and there by their entourage. The restaurant even has their own version of the Sacher cake, and it's decent. Close to transportation, the ...

Hollmann Beletage - Design & Boutique

Such a great hotel with such a comfortable, down home feeling. I love that it's tiny and with only 25 rooms the staff knows your name and preferences almost instantly. The location is right in the heart of Vienna at the doorstep of all major monuments. The restaurant is all about the breakfast buffet but what isn't typical is that ...

    WOMBATS Naschmarkt GmbH

Hey, what an hostel! After staying at the other Wombats at Westbahnhof, I wanted to try this other (there's 3 in total in Vienna) which is conveniently located in literally in front of the Naschmarkt and less then one block away from the metro station. I thought it was perfect to explore the flea market that is taking place every ...

I stayed here in November 2009 and had a lovely time. The hotel is in a great location, SO close to the Museum Quarter and easy walk to the city center as well. The staff, food, and accommodations were all excellent.

    Hilton Vienna Plaza

    Hilton Vienna Plaza

    Hotel Class:

A hotel that keeps the expectations of an Hilton with an extremely good location, right in the city center very close to the Rathaus building and the Parliament, and good access with public transport. The rooms are comfortable, in Jugendstil fashion, with large bathrooms and usually a little living room. Breakfast is grand but it should be included in your ...

    Mercure Josefshof Wien

    Hotel Class:

I think this is a nice hotel, which is well located and offers a good service. The city center is within walking distance, though the road is quiet. Rooms are clean and offer everything you need. To my taste, the furnishing of the standard double room is a bit too much “standard” and could be more creative or modern. On ...

    Boutique Hotel Stadthalle

I really like the concept of this hotel. I try to have an eco- friendly lifestyle, so this hotel was a good choice. I haven't come across any hotel yet, which is producing its own electricity or is using rain water for the toilet flush. On the other hand it is a modern city hotel like many others, with its ...

    Le Meridien Vienna

To say that this hotel is Modern is an understatement. It seemed like it was from space. One of the most interesting places I have ever seen. All neon lights and glass and weird sculptures. The room was typically white with pastel colors but the most interesting part of the room was the TV. It would pop on at all ...

    Hotel Daniel

    4.5

In the major cities of Austria and Germany they're a bit fixated with these "urban experience" places. On the one hand it's a concept taken too far, on the other it's interesting to see new life being breathed into former office buildings from one of the least celebrated periods in modern architecture (often, deservedly so). As you might expect, rooms ...

The hotel is set in a modern building where in the past a flower market used to be and, funny enough, the new building which was built here definitely reminds a greenhouse! There is a business feeling here and the huge lobby might make you think that you never left the airport! The main restaurant down here serves very good ...

We spent four nights at this hotel after reading reviews and booking on Expedia. Once arriving at Vienna airport, we caught the airport train into Vienna, then switched train lines to the Green U4 line to go Stadtpark station which was only one stop away. From there we walked approximately 2 blocks away with all our luggage to get to ...

    Hotel Park Villa

Yes, a villa in the park! This is basically an ancient Vienna mansion located in a fantastic neighborhood in the city but outside the center. It has a private and comfortable feeling and the little lovely garden to have breakfast on sunny days or just to relax is a pleasant addition. Also, unlike more central hotels, the parking around here ...

What a beautiful place! You wouldn't even think from outside that you'll be staying in an art gallery hotel. A lovely home feeling pervades all the areas of the hotel and there is no place around where you won't see some beautiful art from painting to photography and sculpture. The rooms are all in different design and be sure to ...

This is a good value hotel near the Westbanhof train station. It's a few blocks to the U3 station that gets to Stephanplatz in about 15 minutes, so it's pretty convenient considering that it's not downtown. The cafeteria-style breakfast buffet is nothing to write home about, but they have hot eggs and sausage, as well as a fancy espresso machine. ...

It is a nice hotel with some highlights! Highlight Nr. 1: LOCATION. I enjoy spending time at the Museumsquartier (http://www.mqw.at/) (just opposite the hotel), both for visiting the museums and for the nightlife! Highlight Nr.2: THE SPA. I loved to have the possibility to use the spa all on my own, without paying extra! Most probably the only place in ...
