If you're in Las Vegas and trying to stay on a budget, I would recommend you watch the Volcano eruption.

It'll only take about 10 minutes of your time, but stop long enough while you're walking the Strip at night to see the Mirage's faux exploding volcano light up. Kids love the spectacle, even though it doesn't last very long.

Yes, you’re not wrong, it’s really a Volcano! But don’t be afraid, because it’s not dangerous! Mirage Hotel provides a unique performance, which begins in the evening after sunset. You can see how the volcano emits tons of boiling lava from its crater! This is a great experience which is not to be missed, because where else could you see such a fantastic show???

If you want to see a Volcano go off in the desert then this is the place the best time would be at night time. It has loud noise to it so you can't miss it

It's one of those things you're "supposed to do" on the strip but it's only worth it if you're already nearby. It's short and the crowds get huge. I made the mistake of going out of my way to see this and the Sirens of TI back-to-back for some free entertainment, and neither were worth the effort.

The volcano erupts regularly at night and its worth a few minutes of your time if you're in the area. Kids especially enjoy the water and light show.

This is a fun and free attraction on the Las Vegas Strip. Children will be especially impressed, as it is impressive. They revamped this some years back, and it is definitely better than it used to be.

Loved this way back in the 1980's as there really wasn't anything like it then. Not much has changed. Interesting if you have never seen it, the kids will want to watch this erupt.

This show has been around for a long time, but it's still amazing. It's every hour on the hour. Get there early to get a good spot. We were able to get close up. You can feel the heat from the flames and see flames from the volcano along with water shooting way into the air.

I also caught this by accident as one of the previous reviewers said. I didn't know what to expect so I guess it was fantastic for me since it was a nice free show randomly when I didn't expect it. However, thinking back on it I don't know that it really deserves four stars since it wasn't as impressive as some of the other free shows I have seen in various other casinos on the strip.

It's definitely cool if you catch it but it's not a MUST SEE when you're in Vegas.

Description

Are you ready to have a sizzling hot night at a cool hotel? You should check out the Volcano at the Mirage. No one else in Vegas can offer you an experience quite like this. Where else can you enjoy a casino, shopping, restaurants and a man-made volcano that erupts every hour in the evening? There is nothing more spectacular than watching lava spew from a 30-foot volcano or fireballs shoot 12 feet into the air. The best thing is that you can watch it from one of the beautiful rooms in the hotel if you choose to stay there.
