i'm now convinced at portland has some of the best places i have seen. first i found a great collectible shop with all the best things i grew up with, a bar with classic 80's arcade games and now some truly awesome donuts. i swear i need to move to the great pacific northwest asap.
sure donuts are good but voodoo donut has the craziest combinations and is a wet dream for cops on crack. if your up to try something new and different this place will make your jaw drop. this place is also open 24 hours! maybe it's a good thing after all i live so far away. just so you can picture how different and wacky these guys are they have once had a jagermeister donut, a pepto bismol donut and a nyquil donut. talk about daring! they have so many great types of donuts on the menu but these are some of my favorites-
crispy slices of bacon on a maple bar
devils food, vanilla, and crushed butterfinger
chocolate doughnut with vanilla frosting and strawberry quick powder
chocolate doughnut, chocolate glaze, and cocoa-puffs
chocolate chips, banana and peanut butter glaze
peanut butter and chocolate rice krispies
so next time i'm in portland voodoo will be the first place i go. i'm not a morning person so i never get to have to many donuts so late night sounds right up my alley.

So yeah, you have to come here. World-famous donut shop in downtown Oregon. Main store is on SW 3rd just south of the Burnside bridge. Second location is on NE Davis near NE Sandy.
Donut selection galore, including some standard types and a bunch of really creative selections. Maple bacon bar? Here. Butterfingers on your donuts? Here. Fruit Loops on your donut? Here.
