This W location captures the Buckhead feel with a warm, bright Living Room decorated in a country-club chic style that is continued throughout the hotel. It is a smaller W, so the feel is very personable and the staff gets to know their guests. The room combines modern and Southern style with floral prints, abstract art and hi-tech extras. I really loved the restaurant, Cook Hall, with a pub-style menu and the modern-day gentleman’s club vibe. They have these really unique create-your-own cocktail kits—great way to unwind on vacation or after hours during business travel. I also loved the relaxed atmosphere at the rooftop bar, Whiskey Blue. The comfy cabanas are a great place to hang on steamy summer nights. The patio is gorgeous with string lights overhead and a huge waterfall. Plus, they have the only infinity pool in the area, with a stunning view of the Buckhead skyline. If that’s not enough, the W Buckhead is literally steps away from the best shopping in Atlanta at Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza, not to mention scores of smaller boutiques. Ultra-posh, yet comfortable, it’s easily one of the most fashionable hotels in Atlanta.Recommended for:

This is one of several W hotel properties in the city. It's located right off of Peachtree Street, which makes it close to two major shopping malls -- Phipps Plaza and Lenox as well as dozens of restaurants including Cook Hall which is adjoined to the hotel. This W has a really eclectic interior design and is a great spot to grab a drink with a coworker or client of your on business or meet up with friends you may be visiting in the city.Recommended for:

This is one of my favorite hotels for atmosphere and convenience! The theme of this W property is "Country Club Chic" and that definitely shows in all of the decor choices; there's white antler chandeliers hanging over modern seating which look into one of the hippest bars in Atlanta. The atmosphere in the lobby and bar areas change from daytime to night including lighting, music and decor touches. This is a pretty small hotel with only 291 rooms, but it seems to have much more space due to a great layout and it means that if you stay more than one night, the super friendly staff will recognize you in the halls or in the lobby and do everything they can to make your stay great! The hotel was designed by local boy, Thom Felicia (of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy fame) and his stunning taste is evident at every turn.
The rooms are pretty large for an intown location and they are very clean. The bathroom is sparkling clean and stocked with Bliss products (which I *love*)! I really like that when you enter the room, there is a noise machine already turned on; it's a much more pleasant sound to come in to than a TV on full blast! There is an iPod dock, a DVD/game station hookup, a wet bar, snacks, a safe and robes in the closet. Wifi is NOT complimentary and runs at $10.95 per 24 hours which isn't a lot of money, I guess, but I still think a property as high end as the W should offer a free connection. The bed is very comfortable and has lovely bedding with high thread count sheets.
There is a small infinity pool (the only one in Atlanta) and the pool deck is very tasteful with teak lounge chairs and televisions. And if you stay on a Tuesday night, there is a 6:30pm yoga class up on the pool deck overlooking Buckhead (cost is $30). There is a fitness center which is very clean, fully stocked with magazines, complimentary earphones, Bliss tidy towels, fresh fruit, water and refrigerated towels for your cool down. And best of all, it actually smells good in there - not like your typical hotel gym that reeks of loneliness and sweat!
There is a restaurant, Market, which is connected to the hotel through the lobby and it is excellent! There is outside dining, a private room for 6 - 8 people and an intimate upstairs space which seats about 30. The menu is expansive, the wait staff is friendly and attentive and the food is absolutely delicious. And after your meal, you can pop upstairs to grab a cocktail at Whiskey Blue before heading out on the town or going for a night swim.
This location is extremely convenient if you aren't driving to Atlanta as MARTA is literally right next door to the hotel. And since it is in a hopping part of the city, I like the fact that the hotel hallways can only be accessed with a room key. At this particular W location, it seems they have thought of everything to make your stay in Atlanta as comfortable and convenient as possible!Recommended for:

My personal favorite of all the Atlanta W hotels, the W Atlanta Buckhead is a small, charming, and convenient hotel in the heart of it all! Celebrity designer, Thom Filicia is the amazing designer from “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” that created the exquisite Country Club Chic decor. Natural elements mix with bright colors bringing the country club scheme to a new level. The most important aspect that this location has is an overall feeling of intimacy. “Sweat,” the fitness area even has sectioned off areas for privacy during your workout. Although, this is a relatively small property there are several beautiful and dramatic conference rooms and ball rooms. The true star of the show is the on-site restaurant, Market. The food is great and the atmosphere is absolutely stunning.
Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and a fitness facility. This 4.0 star property has a business center and offers small meeting rooms and limo/town car service. Wireless and wired high speed Internet access is available in public areas (surcharges apply). This Atlanta property has event space consisting of conference/meeting rooms and a ballroom. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Additional property amenities include a bar/lounge, a concierge desk, and multilingual staff.
Beds come with pillowtop mattresses, down comforters, and premium bedding. Bathrooms feature showers, makeup/shaving mirrors, designer toiletries, and bathrobes. Wireless and wired high speed Internet access is available for a surcharge; guestrooms also offer cordless phones, iPod docking stations, and CD players. Flat panel televisions have
