In a word: posh. Nothing about this place is typical, from the attitude of every employee to the lighting to the layout. It is clearly modern and distinctly vibrant. If you decide to stay here I have no doubt your every wish will be fulfilled (within reason). The atmosphere is just sexy, and artfully so.
Celebrities should stay here because that's how you feel just waking in the door. Every employee looked me in the eyes and were polite to me, and the ever-present bodyguards were wired and imposing. You can bet that the people who want to be seen will be, but paparazzi won't last long. That's why I didn't feel comfortable taking too many pictures.
Bring your money but except to get your money's worth. This is the place to be even if you're not going to stay.

The W isn’t a hotel, it’s a destination. On any given weekend, both tourists and locals can be found gathered at the Living Room Bar. The lounge has a regular rotation of deejays and a lively atmosphere to make up for the Ghostbar that departed a few years ago. The old nightclub has since been repurposed as an event space and it’s actually better served as such. It’s bright and beautiful with breathtaking views of the city. The W includes its usual cohorts--the Bliss Spa and an awe-inspiring infinity pool, but what makes W Dallas Victory unique are the cute elements of Texas flair. On the ground floor, in the window behind the staircase, little cowboy, horse and steer figurines are strung together like chimes. Be sure to check out the onsite restaurant, Cook Hall specializing in New American fare and handcrafted cocktails. Or, venture across the street to Victory Park for a cigar at Havana Social Club.Recommended for:

I am obsessed with the W brand in general, but the W Victory Park has always been a comfortable choice. My friends and I stay here every year for the Texas-OU game and it never disappoints. Since our first stay there 3 years ago, it has been an annual tradition that we dont plan on changing anytime soon. The lobby has a coolness about it that is very alluring. The vibe of the hotel is just very hip and fun and all people that are staying there always look like they are having fun. They have a bar/lounge area immediately to the left of the entrance and it is constantly full of people enjoying a drink. The rooms themselves are a good size very accommodating to a group party. We usually fit 4-5 people in each room very easily. The bathrooms are an open concept, but they have a curtain that you can pull out to separate the bathroom from the bedroom. This hotel also houses Craft Restaurant and Ghostbar. Craft is a high-end steak house that serves good food, but nothing outright impressed me so I tend not to eat there since it is quite pricy. Ghostbar is quite large and reminds me of its sister property at the Palm hotel in Las Vegas. It tends to attracts an older crowd with money to spend. The service of the hotel has been fantastic, especially the Acura service attendants and concierge. The Acura service will take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel and in style since the Acuras are quite nice. The other thing I really like about this property is the beautiful roof top pool. They also have a a bar available if you want to grab a drink to unwind while looking over the pool. The location in Victory park is great because it is just a short-affordable cab ride to everywhere you need to go. This is one of the nicer options of places to stay in Dallas that doesnt just attract the old-school rich. Instead, this hotel attracts a much younger, trendy crowd.Recommended for:

If I was visiting Dallas, I wouldn't pick this hotel. Its modernist style lacks quality and personality, besides, it's a popular spot for locals. But then, some may like to "mingle."Recommended for:

This place is fantastic. I stay here with friends during OU Weekend each year and we all have a blast. The rooms are great, staff very friendly, and a great, young crowd that stays at the hotel. The location is near to a lot of places so we usually just keep the cars parked and take taxis everywhere.
