Beautiful hotel like all the others in the other parts of the world! They even have an ice skating rink by the bar! Intense. Expensive room and drinks, but worth the experience!

As soon as you walk into W Hotel Taipei, you’re in the Living Room, with a bunch of people having coffee in a modern lounge setting. Well, first you have to take the elevator up to the 8th floor because the hotel is located above a department store. I had the afternoon tea set at The Kitchen Table, which was exquisitely designed and presented. The restaurant often sells out, so I would recommend making reservations at least a few weeks in advance. The rooms are equally trendy, with a floor-to-ceiling “lantern wall,” electronically controlled window screen, large floral-patterned carpet, and the best view of Taipei 101. W Taipei has that New York vibe, the trendsetting sleek, modern design. Definitely the place to see and be seen at in Taipei.

Best hotel in Taipei although a bit pricey! Good location near Taipei 101 and Eslite department store (feat. the biggest book store ever!).

W is Taipei’s hippest hotel. Everything about it is hip, the rooms are hip, the atmosphere is hip, the restaurants are hip, there’s no other adjective to describe it. Their bar is always packed, it’s the hardest bar to get reservations for in Taipei. WOOBAR has great atmosphere and drinks, but kind of slow service. Maybe because there were so many people. The swimming pool outside may be the coolest one in Taipei. The food at Yen, the Chinese restaurant, is also very good. I ordered a dimsum set plate. The rooms are pretty, but a little overdesigned, kind of complicated. It’s not the most relaxing place to sleep. But considering the location and hip feel, it’s still one of Taipei’s best hotels.

Great WOOBAR at 10F, recommend "mojitos" as their best cocktail.
