I visited this Hotel last year with a friend and we loved the cool, modern elegance of the hotel. Leicester Square is quite a bustling area with lots of trendy eateries and designer shops. It seems very fitting for the W to be located here. The hotel's exterior fits in perfectly with the other building on the street with an old world aesthetic. You might be surprised to see the interior of the hotel because it is quite different than the exterior. It is quite dark in the lobby area, but there are tons of windows and some designer lights that help illuminate the area. The living room bar was fantastic and we really enjoyed people watching while sipping on $12 pound cocktails. Definitely a great choice if you have money to spend.

The cool interior was good for the club but too much for our family alas. Unfortunately after first night we came back to poorly cleaned suite - a ring on the edge of the bathtub was visible from the distance! What has to be said though after our complaint they have made it up to us and gave us an upgrade on the top floor-nice!
I am sorry to say as well that whatever has been paid for the design, was not really well spent-maybe the idea was to surprise rather than keeping it functional. to get to the bedroom you had to go through the bathroom! The other room had the living space joined with the bathroom area (just a mere curtain in case you wanted to have a bath. For our family of three it was too wacky! I loved some staff service-the doorman from Australia and the Italian waiter were lovely and sweet!

Very cool hotel at great location, the bar has an amazing buzz, the rooms are modern and comfortable. You can walk from the hotel to most sights. Would definatly stay here again.

Have only visited here for dinner. Find it to be a supremely odd choice of location for this calibre of hotel and the entrance and common area decor to be entirely unwelcoming.

Leicester (pronounced Lester) Square is in the middle of Soho, buzzing with all sorts of cafes and the Odeon Theatre where many London premieres are held. It's largely a tourist area, but that's okay. It's still pretty fun to explore.

The W is great - right on the square, has a great bar perfect for meetings (quite early doors for breakfast meetings or more buzzy in the evenings). The Spice Market is also a great restaurant - try the salmon starter - delicious!

After staying in four different hotels on this last visit to London it was a relief to finally find somewhere good. The staff are extremely friendly, the drinks in the bar are great and has a nice little 70 capacity club in the lobby (can be tough to get in though). I was staying on one of the higher floors, I'd imagine some of the lower ones can get noise at night. The beds are absolutely amazing and with the blacked out curtains you could sleep all day long if you wanted too. The rooms are quite reasonably priced for London and the food is great, although a little expensive. If you're looking for a cool, hip place to stay and hang out in the middle of all the action you can't go past here.
