We came here for drinks and snacks and hung out both at Whisky Blue and the Roof Top Terrance. The drinks are strong and the snacks delicious. We had one of the best steak tartar AND the creamiest/freshest oysters here. The ambiance is wonderful and consistent with most other Ws in other parts of the world. We had wonderful hospitality and service while winding the day here.

The W Santiago is extremely beautiful and located in one of the nicest parts of town. Close by are a handful of great cafes and restaurants and even modern comforts like Starbucks. The hotel has a fantastic pool and gym that will really help you relax and unwind. We had a suite with a huge balcony that we spent a lot of time on just enjoying the view and bottles of wine. The bathroom was probably the most luxurious and sexy bathroom i have ever been in. The shower was big enough for 3 people :) and was an entire open concept with no curtain or anything between the giant bathroom and bedroom. The Staff was also really friendly and honestly i cant imagine a better place to stay in santiago.

I was chatting with a guy that works at the Santiago Marriott recently and he told me that they're about to remodel their lobby – and that “when it's done, it will look better than the W.” Well, it's easy to see why the W sets the design standard for Santiago hotels. The lobby décor is so uber-modern that you feel like you're walking into the future. But it also manages to be personal and practical – new iMacs for visitors to use, a coffee table full of board games, a printed digest of the Times you can read over your breakfast. The spacious rooms have every comfort and luxury you would expect from a high-end hotel. But where the hotel really earns its fifth star is its pool area – a roof-top lap pool with an incomparable view of Santiago and the mountains. Mellow house music wafts over the scene from the bar; beautiful people relax in the pillow-laden cabanas around the pool. If you want to feel like you're where the party's at, the W is the place to be.

Stepping into the lobby automatically you have the impression of being transported to a world situated decades ahead. The space is huge, the environment feels hyperactive but not intimidating, the staff is efficient and fully connected to meet your needs .. or your curiosity ... the decoration increases your perceptiveness, objects and people could suddenly knock out your senses but instead of feeling overwhelmed, the trip continues to the next level, more challenging but inviting: you become part of the unique atmosphere. Once the staff directs you to the room, enter it and its contrasts of bright colors and gray or pastel background make you feel even more welcome. The terrace, pool and bar is on the 21st floor, and every day after 6 pm, lounge music in the air. The views from the terrace target a cosmopolitan city backed by the Andes. The action continues in the hotel's many bars and restaurants. A everlasting music will follows you in all directions. If you want to work the body, this hotel has one of Santiago's best gyms.

Can you start a review of a hotel with the pool? Well I am. Las Vegas roof top mixed with a Caribbean vibe overlooking the best of the cityscape business center of Santiago. W is a modern hotel for the new millennium posh or jet setters. Staff are always connected with earpieces to serve you with the most efficiency. The suite was superb with all of the amenities that are wanted (i.e.iphone players/chargers). Plenty of interesting and exotic dining in any direction you decide to move in. W is the party of Santiago but unless you are accustomed to not looking at price tags you better start now so as not to ruin the fun.
