Newly renovated and re-opened under new management (owner of Chowder House) - fall of 2012. New phone number as well: (207) 853-9226.
Wonderful atmosphere, especially the deck which overlooks the harbor. We saw a whale go right by the deck one morning while eating breakfast. Try it, you will love it!
Love the homemade onion rings and fantastic views of Passamaquoddy Bay!!

Right next to The Commons, The Waco Diner is one of Maine's oldest, competing with Moody's Diner for the position. Typical diner menu, with a variety of places to sit and eat: booths up front opposite the bar, a comfortable dining room behind, and a deck with umbralla-ed tables overlooking the waters of Passamaquoddy Bay.
