This is one of my favorite Waikiki hotels, hands-down. An upscale boutique hotel owned by the world-renowned Halekulani, it manages to be both trendy and classic at the same time. And, strangely, many people have never heard of it—which makes staying there even better. The lobby feels like a modern-art museum with cavernous white spaces and giant abstract artworks. Off the lobby is the super-sleek Nobu, owned by a global restaurateur and serving cocktails as well as nouveau Japanese cuisine. In the petite guest rooms, upscale contemporary décor pairs with Hawaiiana touches like wooden balcony shutters, creating almost a plantation feel. If you book a high floor you’ll have sweeping, mostly unobstructed views of the ocean, which is just about 100 yards away. The modern pool deck is amazingly quiet and cozy, even though the hotel’s pretty much in the middle of the action.Recommended for:

- good location
- fairly clean
The bed was tolerable but not comfortable. We had a beach front view but I was sad to find out it wasn't a full view of the beach. Since the hotel isn't right next to the beach your view also consists of several other hotel building - then the beach/ocean.
The only thing good about the Parc is that it's in a central location. Don't expect resort style accommodations.

Next door to the luxury resort Halekulani, this boutique hotel is a chic, contemporary high-rise just a 5-minute walk from the beach. Rooms are small, but comfy and fresh, with plantation shutters and mod white furnishings. Your room key also gets you in to some of Honolulu's museums and attractions at a discount. The rooftop pool is small, but uncrowded. Downstairs is Nobu Waikiki for Japanese fusion sushi and cocktails.Recommended for:

Setting not far from the beach and more quiet, this might be the most elegant, sleekest hotel in Waikiki. The large, contemporary-designed, uncluttered lobby has some bright splashes of color and great art. The calming room matched this motif, with stone flooring and inlaid carpeting under the bed area, complimentary internet access and a spacious lanai with a panoramic ocean view. The fitness center is exceptional. Every Friday there’s a wine mixer by the exciting pool area, overlooking the ocean, with fire pits at night. Their Nobu Restaurant is very well known as one of the best for Japanese cuisine with a global flair. And the Parc a.m. breakfast service is quite good. One of the major perks with your room card is free admission to Honolulu’s most prominent museums. They also offer Lotus automobile rentals. The Waikiki Parc gives a very chic, sophisticated experience with excellent service.
Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool and a fitness facility. This 4.0 star property has a business center and offers business services. High speed Internet access is available in public areas. Guest parking is available for a surcharge.
