Little Beach is just a short hike up the hill from Big Beach, it was packed, full of hippies, weirdos, druggies, nudies, etc. They were playing drums, playing in the water, dogs running around, hula hooping, dancing, getting high, it was like they were stuck in the 60′s. Another South Maui beach with good snorkeling. Good place to see turtles. We like to snorkel down to the black sand beach. There are a few underwater arches along the way and some nice coral. We’ve seen a manta ray here and a reef shark.

Tons of hiking trails in the forest with spectacular views down to the ocean. If the beaches seem crowded, come on up here for peace, quiet and serenity. It does not feel like the tropics up here, but if you like the forest and appreciate nice views, you will be pleased.
