    Disney's Boardwalk Inn

    Disney's Boardwalk Inn

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    20 reviews

This is one of my favorite Disney resorts, although I slightly prefer the villa side to the Inn. If I could sum this place up in one word, it would be RELAXED. They've done an excellent job of making the Inn feel like a stately old New England guest house, and the boardwalk is a flashback into the east coast ...

Imagine going to what you thought would be a fantastic resort, only to have the manager greet you and say you'd likely be happier elsewhere. That's what happened to me here. Essentially, I was told that the Disney Beach Resort would be a better option for me because the Coronado Springs was too spread out, the dining was too centralized ...

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were beautiful. Our room was on the water side, but very close to the end of the building near Magic Kingdom. At night we could stand outside our door and watch the fireworks over Space Mountain then walk through our room to the patio and watch the Lighted Water Parade. The best ...

I'm a Hilton fan! The rooms are modern and comfortable. This hotel is a quick and easy walk to Downtown Disney or a nice stroll over the Crossroads shopping center for some off-Disney eating.

Consistent Hilton offering having modern and comfortable rooms before the other hotels started remodeling theirs. They're something to live up to. The pool area is decent and comfortable. This hotel is within close walking distance to Downtown Disney or Crossroads Shopping center that offers stores and dining options.

I stayed that the Polynesian Resort on one trip to Disneyworld (and I usually switch it up each time). As with most Disney resorts, everything is a little over the top, but with a Polynesian theme here.

I stayed that the Port Orleans Resort on one trip to Disneyworld (and I usually switch it up each time). There's a central lake and and a beach, along with a pool and hot tub. It's one of Disney's mid-range hotels, so it's a bit cheaper than the premium resorts.

Imagine waking up, looking out from the African tribal decor of your mosquito net-draped bedroom suite and seeing the head of a giraffe walk by, grazing on subtropical brush. Now recall the fact that you are in Orlando. Weird, right? I mean, I knew places like this were possible in the Heart of the Dark Continent, but in the Magic ...

This is part of the All Star resort area. The best part is that are at the farthest point, so there is less traffic. When you close your eyes, the only concern I have is that I am comfortable. I don't need elaborate theming. The All-Star resorts are good for the value. The downside is that the rooms feel cramped. ...

I'm going to group my review of Disney's value resorts together. I categorize them exactly the same. If you want tons of theming at minimal price with excellent value then I would suggest Disney's Pop Century or Disney's All Stars Resorts. The oversized whimsical tributes to pop culture, movies, sports or music makes kids eyes light up. Their pools are ...

This is one of my favorite mid-level resorts at Walt Disney World. The grounds are lush and gorgeous, the pool is eventful and the food court has decent variety. Disney has never been known to miss a detail when it comes to creating an "immersive experience", and the French Quarter is no exception. In the massive complex of resorts at Walt Disney World, the French Quarter is among the upper levels of the budget variety which is a pleasant surprise considering the quaint charm of the landscape. A great value on a vacation home-type stay while visiting Disney. Their Grand Villas are essentially 3 bedroom homes with a backyard porch, jacuzzi bath and the works. You can save a ton of money by stocking the fridge and cooking dinners in the full kitchen rather than eating out every night. And there's totally enough room for an extended ...
