Went on an office outing to hear Odean Pope's Sax Choir. We got the best seats in the house, and the music was interesting and good. What would have made it better: The food: It's pricey and pretty meh. The staff: Didn't seem to care too much. When we went to check in with the host and said that we ...

Best comedy club I have ever been to. The cover is usually pretty cheap (around $10) and there is a drink requirement but they are very reasonable. The pubs and clubs around are also fairly cheap (one of them had $1 beers when I was there).

Charming little tea and spice shop in the West Village. Has a nicely curated selection of high quality spices -- multiple varieties of vanilla bean, salt, pepper, chili, etc. A great place to pick and choose a gift selection or pick up a pre-packed set. The tea selection is also excellent. Keep your eye open for the ghost peppers in ...

One of the best independent theaters in New York City. There are regular short films shown along with a mix of independent films that are unique to this theater. If you're into movies and want to see something unique I highly recommend it.

Great speakeasy in NYC! The spots is unmarked except for the white rabbit painted on the black doors. There are a couple steps leading down to the doors. Once you walked in, it's dark with red lighting. The menu is mostly beer...US, British, German, Irish, etc. There aren't that many seats in here...maybe about 10. I thought this spot was ...

If you're into custom sneakers, flight club is the place to be at. I'm personally not, however have come here a couple times to purchase gifts for people who are. They carry some of the rarest sneakers that you can come across. My last purchase here was a pair of AM95s w/ AM360 bubble, they weren't terribly expensive. The staff ...

Andy Warhol's factory used to be here when the park was filled with junkies and May's department store was on 14th. Now it basically sucks with a bunch of yuppies buying rotten applesauce or some such crap.

A real, contemporary speakeasy. I haven't actually been here but have been to Crif Dogs. You go into Crif Dogs and then go into the "phone booth" which really is a phone booth but is your gateway into PDT which is well-known for finely crafted cocktails.
