Waterfront Walkway

Queens Wharf, Wellington, WGN 6001 New Zealand
4
11 reviews

Food, benches in the sunshine, and little shops to entertain the masses. This seems to be the hub of activity for Wellington - where workabees come on their lunch breaks, families come for togetherness time, and students come to study. It's the place to be on a warm spring or summer day.

Pulsing with a youthful vibe Cuba Street is the place to be in Wellington. It offers a delightful blend of New Zealand charm and beauty with hip local culture, music and performers. It's a nice place to just stroll up and down checking out the shops and grabbing a bite to eat.

Wellington is so hip and laid back it's easy to forget that it is also the capital city! Even the houses of parliament are not your average looking government building.

There is something a bit rugged and grungy about Wellington that I really liked. Places like Slow Boat Records really just added to the cities youthful and hip appeal. They had more records in the shop than I've seen anywhere in quite sometime. Nice place to stop in and get the local feel.
