    Memphis Belle Coffee House

    4 reviews

Best coffee in Wellington. Memphis Belle is a hip little cafe on Dixon St, where local coffee officiados go to get their fix. In addition to making great espresso, they offer a range of coffee types and a variety of brewing options (e.g. syphon, chemex, cold drip). The barristas are knowledgeable and friendly, and the food is decent.

Great cafe on Cuba Street! Just stopped in for a quick coffee break but really nice to get the coffee shop vibe on the hippest street in Wellington.

Food is great, the service was glacial and uninterested. They weren't that busy either.

Speight's Ale House Restaurant & Bar (The)

    1 review

We topped off our tour with dinner at Speight's Ale House which serves tasty South Island cuisine accompanied by Speights beer that's been brewed on the premises. I ordered the Blue 'n Gold, a Speights beer battered blue cod served with "golden" chips (i.e., fries).
