    Waterfront Walkway

    11 reviews

I was only in Wellington for a short stay but it quickly became one of my favorite cities. It is culture and laid back and also incredibly beautiful! On the water front with rocky hills all around. It's nice to take a walk down by the water and look back at the city as it rises into the hills.

    Cuba Street

    6 reviews

When in Wellington Cuba Street is a must! It's very long and has heaps of different shops to go looking in, and also a few different restaurants. You are bound to find something to your taste along there. Also on the weekends there are people who sell paintings, do tricks or anything really. Make sure you check it out!

    Interislander Ferry Terminal

    4 reviews

Quite a trip! I really enjoyed my first ride on the ferry. I went first from the North Island to the South Island and pulling into the sounds was beautiful! But on the way back we hit rather rough seas and the ship quickly turned into an infirmary with people getting sick in the halls. It was quite unpleasant!

    Island Bay

Lovely seaside suburb, just around the corner from the airport. Italian-kiwi families still keep fishing boats in the bay, and have an annual blessing of the fishermen done by St Francis de Sales parish.
