    Botanic Gardens

    9 reviews

What I loved most about the gardens would have to be their location! The gardens themselves were beautiful but what really made them memorable was the cable car ride up to them! And at the top you can look out over the entire city! Wonderful experience!

Interislander Ferry was quite a ride! You have 3 hours (92km) to do whatever you want - watch a movie, read a book, grab a drink and bit to eat at the bar or enjoy breathtaking views of Cook's Strait. It is probably one of the most beautiful ferry rides in the world!

Lovely seaside suburb, just around the corner from the airport. Italian-kiwi families still keep fishing boats in the bay, and have an annual blessing of the fishermen done by St Francis de Sales parish.
