This square is within easy walking distance from the old town, but that is quite hard to believe as I think this square slightly lacks the distinctly classic and romantic feel of the rest of the central city. However, this is the place to go for clothes shopping as it is home to all the familiar suspects such as Zara and Mango.

I remember two features from this square. One was the monument to the victims of communism, which was metallic and appropriately depressing. The other was a statue of Superman flying headfirst into the ground.

A great orientation for your first night in Prague - stroll down the streets and start taking in the city's vibe, but this particular drag is so overrun with tourists, Westernized retail and eateries, and gimmicky souvenir shops that it clouds over the true Prague. Use it as a spine, but venture off it to explore, dig into authentic Czech cuisine and beer, and watch prices drop nearly in half.

Wenceslas Square is a long stretch of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes. It's a lively area whether you come in the day or evening. Be sure to check out the hot dog stands.Recommended for:Luxury Travelers

Wenceslas Square is a neighborhood area with a statue of St.Wenceslas. This road look like a pedestrian street. Two sides of a building are built in Art Nouveau style, elegant and stylish.

Interesting enough place but pretty overdone. The best thing about Wenceslas Square for me, was theat when I was there in 2009, it was in the week that Michael Jackson dies and there were hundreds of people parading through city wearing white gloves, and waving posters.
I was waiting for them to break into the Thriller dance but it never happened.
