So much to do in a small area -- you are in the heart of L.A. and yet you can stumble upon tree lined streets with fabulous buildings to fantasize living in one day. Great shopping along Melrose and Sunset and lots of really fun Gay clubs which celebrate like it's the 4th of July every day.

West Hollywood is renowned for its nightlife, celebrity culture and diverse atmosphere. It is an independent city of 1.9 square miles located along Santa Monica Boulevard from Doheny to La Brea Avenue. The city has large gay, Jewish and eastern European populations. More than one-third of the population identify themselves as LGBT. Following its 1984 incorporation West Hollywood elected the nation's first gay majority city council. It has been a consistent national leader in seeking protection of and advocating for equal rights for the LGBT community.

Great neighborhood and central to Los Angeles shopping, eateries, travel & nightlife. Always upgrade your hotel room for more comfort & a better night's sleep. Starbuck's, Trader Joe's, Basix Cafe, Marix, LASC, Tender Greens, Beverly Center, Melrose, just so much to see & do.

Known as WeHo, this area of LA is really funny. For shopping addicted Robertson and Melrose boutiques are a nice starting point. There are also stylish restautants and hotels. I enjoyed also driving through Sunset Blv, what beautiful houses and gardens all there around.
