This is by far my favorite library in Los Angeles. Public libraries are not often destinations these days, but the WeHo Library was recently renovated and re-opened. As part of the renovation, the library commission public murals by street artists such as Retna, Shepard Fairey, and Kenny Scharf. Inside, the architecture is beautiful and all facilities are brand new. It is a beautiful place to study or just spend the afternoon curled in a book as you have a great view of the Pacific Design Center on the second floor.

I am partial to libraries so they automatically get lots of points from me. This library had been in renovation for over a year and finally reopened recently. And it is a BEAUT! Great place to work, read or write. You can also rent out conference rooms here. Highly recommended to stop by and check it out if you're in the neighborhood.
